We invite you for a visit to the Tomb of Gül Baba and Rosegarden in Budapest.
Dear Erasmus and international students! We invite you for a visit to the Tomb of Gül Baba and Rosegarden in Budapest.
The tomb was built by Mehmed Paşa, between 1543 and 1548. It represents the farthest influence of The Ottoman conquests into the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
After a period of being in significant disrepair, the tomb and the surrounding rose garden has been completely renovated, rebuilt and reopened to the public in 2018.
Join us for a visit to one of the most unique historical landmarks of Hungary, and learn about the u0022Trouble Timesu0022 - the 150 year old Dominion of the Ottoman Empire over the kingdom.
