BUDAPEST nBudapest is the capital of Hungary with a population of 1,7 million people. Often described as the “Little Paris of Middle Europe”, Budapest is famous not only for the monuments reflecting its own thousand-year-old culture, but also for the relics of others who settled here. The city gained its unique architectural glam between the late 19th and early 20th century.nnBudapest is divided into 23 administrative districts. The Danube flows right through the centre of the city and divides it into the two unequal city-halves: the hilly Buda and the flat landed Pest. Two thirds of the city lay on the Pest, and one on Buda’s. Suburban Buda and its historic castle district offer medieval streets and houses, museums, caves and Roman ruins. The dynamic Pest side boasts the largest parliament building in Europe, riverside promenades, flea markets, bookstores, plenty of clubs & bars, antique stores and café houses.
