Have you heard about Lake Bokod Floating Village? Some call it the Hungarian Thailandu or a piece of New Zealandu for a reason!

There is a little town that looks like a spaceport on the water. This unique Hungarian village on Lake BOKOD, built on stilts, is located in a lake that never freezes, due to the power plant that uses it as a cooling pond. People travel there to take pictures of themselves in front of the village, but you don't need to take a camera with you because we bring a professional photographer who will take great photos of you!

Before we visit the Floating Village, we will also go to the town of TATA.
Here we have the chance to enter the Castle, built at the mid 14th-century on the northern tip of Lake Öreg (Old Lake), that is one of the jewels of the region.
Also, we will see the view from a great viewpoint with the biggest bird statue of Europe: the Mythical Eagle of the Ancient Hungarians!

• First we will visit the Turul statue at a nice viewpoint, and the Szelim cave close to Tata.
• Then, we will go to the Öreg Lake of Tata, where we have some free time for lunch, and we can optionally visit the castle too!
• In the afternoon, we will go to Lake Bokod and see its famous floating houses and take nice photos.
  We will enter a fisherman's private lodge on the water too, to have a special view for the best photos. There, you can get drinks for only 1000 Ft - please give it to the guide on the bus.
  Take amazing photos with the enchanting floating village—every angle is picture-perfect!
