ELB presents: Hike & Wine in Etyek!
We are inviting you to be part of a unique experience, in which we’re introducing you to the serene landscape of the Etyek-Buda wine region.
The area is known best for its white and sparkling wine varieties and of course of its picturesque vineyards!
Join us on our Etyek Hike and Wine trip, where we wander around the beautiful surroundings of Etyek. We will visit a local winery during the trip for a divine Hungarian wine-tasting experience and will close our day visiting the gastro-promenade and festival that happens once each season: Etyek Fall Picnic. 🍷🧺

► PROGRAM 10:15 Meeting time 📍 Meeting point is at Kelenföld vasútállomás, next to Etele tér "P+R 1 Parking" goo.gl/maps/RfYzpWPCPLVzeQbo8 - you can get there by metro line 4. 🚌 Bus leaves: 10:40 🍇 Arriving to Etyek 🚶♂️ 11:30-14:00 Hike Time 14:00 Visiting a local winery to taste 4 different types of wines of the Etyek region! 💃 Free time for visiting other wineries, hiking around the yards and Etyek 🧺 🚌 Departure back to Budapest at 19:00 Arrival to Budapest 20:00
The length of the hike will be approx. 9 kms, and will take 2,5-3 hours. Difficulty: This hike is perfect for beginners too, as the route is going to be flatland mainly.
The Etyek Spring Picnic will take place in the vineyards of the Etyek-Buda wine region, with a variety of venues and activities. Strolling through the open cellars, you can lose yourself in the bounty of special wines, champagnes, small producers, handicraft products and better and better snacks. 🍷🥧 Don't be surprised if you find yourself walking through the cellars to a musical entertainment and bands!🎶🎷
